There is help for alley cats in DC!

Residents in Washington, DC have nonlethal control available for their alley cats. The District of Columbia and the Washington Humane Society allow colonies of unsocialized cats (feral) to be sterilized, vaccinated and returned to their habitat. Cats are cared for by local neighbors who feed, water and provide shelter for the cats. This new program is available to anyone in DC. Please e-mail us with the following information:

  • Give the address of where the cats are located.
  • Who is feeding the cats?
    Please provide us with their e-mail and phone numbers -(cell and home and the best time to call) as well as their address.
  • How many adult cats are there?
  • How many kittens are there?
  • Are you able to trap?
  • Do you have transportation?

Alley Cat Allies operates a no-cost spay/neuter clinic one day a month on Sunday’s. Please e-mail us with the following information:
